Flowers

The triplets are really into flowers and gardening right now. Between the vegetable garden I put in the back yard to the roses and sunflowers we have growing along the side of our house, they're always making sure everything has enough water and updating me on the status of each plant.

This morning while wandering through Costco, the kids spotted some really bright flowers from across the warehouse. They kept hounding me to get the flowers and take them home for mommy. Of course, on the way out, I stopped by the flowers and picked them up. They each held them up to their noses and took a big whiff. (Thankfully they do not have allergies like I do. If I did that I'd be sneezing for hours.)

Once we got the flowers home and put into a vase, Juli wouldn't leave them alone. She kept smelling each flower. Each and Every flower. I had to keep reminding her to be gentle. It was just so cute, it didn't take me long to realize that I had a perfect opportunity for a mini photo shoot. I even got her to smile normal (not the toddler-standard forced smile).
