Six Little Shoes

This morning after breakfast our children were all trying very hard to say "shoe" while pointing feverishly at the shelf where the shoes are kept. Our youngest daughter (I love saying that because she's one minute younger than our oldest daughter) was saying something that sounded more like shit than shoe. Let's just hope she figures out how to pronounce that one correctly soon.

So, we put the shoes on them and they went on their merry way playing and destroying the house as usual. It was a little weird though, because our son usually is tearing at his feet to get the shoes and socks off. He absolutely hates them. Until today. He was perfectly fine having them on his feet, and even got mad at me for taking them off when I went to put him down for a nap. I explained that we don't wear shoes to bed. He didn't seem to understand. I guess that's expecting a little much from a 17 month old.
