Last week, we had the chance to join my mother-in-law and brother-in-law for a three day vacation at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio. It was a nice break for us all. The kids really had a good time at the water park. Especially KJ. I lost count of how many times he went down the slides, by himself and with Uncle George. 

The girls were a little more apprehensive about the slides. Elisha never did warm up to the idea. She went down once with mama, but didn't like it at all. Juli, on the other hand, became a big fan of the slides after one trip down with mama. She even went down by herself a few times, and absolutely loved it.

When it was time to leave the water park (lunch time), KJ was very vocal with his displeasure at our leaving. He wanted to stay and ride the slides all day. Of course, once we got back to the room, all we heard was "KJ hungee, KJ hungee" until we got some food for him. Then it was nap time. 


The next morning the kids found that the brochures and room phone were big fun to play with. And the girls found some time to watch some Sesame Street on mama's iPhone.

We all had a great time. Many thanks to Grandma Anita and Uncle George for inviting us and for all of your help. We couldn't have done it without you.
